Meet Dr. Ahn
Dr. Katherine Ahn Wallace, DDS
Dr. Katherine Ahn (Wallace) began her educational journey into dentistry by attending the UCLA School of Dentistry. After graduating in 1993, she completed a two-year pediatric residency at UCLA where she acquired skills in craniofacial development and orthodontics, which has proven invaluable to her particular focus on jaw development and healthy airway support.
Dr. Ahn has stayed at the forefront of dentistry by completing mini-residencies and comprehensive programs in Neuromuscular Dentistry with LVI, Craniofacial Pain and TMJ Therapy with the AACP, Dental Sleep Medicine with the TMJ Sleep Therapy Centre and Growth-Guidance and Airway-Focused Orthodontics with FBI. Dr. Ahn also has extensive training in Myofunctional Therapy with Joy Moeller and Frenuloplasty with The Breathe Institute (TBI), to which she is also an Affiliate.
Ultimately, Aviara is Dr. Ahn’s vision. Creating an interdisciplinary center that leads the way in comprehensive sleep, TMJ, orthodontic and whole-body wellness has been Dr. Ahn's lifelong aspiration.
