Meet Kyra Griffith
Kyra Griffith, M.S., CCC-SLP
Kyra Griffith founded TLC Pediatric Therapy in 2011 as a platform for a comprehensive community-based organization with high-quality pediatric therapies. The success of TLC is a result of Griffith’s multifaceted leadership experiences within service integration, leadership, solution-oriented program design, and a lifelong dedication to the field of speech-language pathology.
Griffith’s recognition for the importance of service integration and family-centered care began over 35 years ago, when her grandfather suffered a stroke. Along with her grandmother, Griffith cared for him in their home, facilitating his ability to communicate. This experience not only prompted a fascination with language learning and loss but also led to Griffith’s interest in healthcare teams.
Within the area of speech pathology, Griffith has received numerous ACE awards for her dedication to lifelong learning. In addition to leadership and clinical programmatic endeavors, Griffith finds joy in teaching and mentoring clinicians. Over the past 25 years, Griffith has had extensive experience in numerous settings including hospitals, schools, and home health. From 2006–2011, she directed clinical services within a community healthcare setting for 5 years, leading a team of over 30 early child and school aged specialists. Griffith holds specialized certifications, having expertise within varying clinical approaches and pediatric therapy techniques
